Gene Roulstone, Level 2 Electrician with PowerGen, presented what batteries to get and how it works in with your solar. Jim Tsinganos broke down the Federal Government Rebates - what you can claim and how, as well as sharing what AG Solar is offering. Watch video.
4:00pm – Community Battery Models
David Gilligan introduced the many versions that a Community battery can come in, what may be possible for Bundeena and how Community Batteries are being rolled out at the moment. Watch video.
4:30pm – What Is a VPP?
What a Virtual Powerplant is and why you have to join one to get the battery rebate. Vera Auerbach shared her personal experience joining a Virtual Power Plant (Amber) and how it all works, as well as financial returns. Watch video.
