The EV transition - Stephanie Holmes shared her learnings on driving and buying an electric vehicle, explaining her journey in transitioning towards an EV, including how to charge, where to charge, as well as her first country trip where she had to overcome her range anxiety!
Induction cooktop cooking - Betty Velosky spoke about how to electrify your kitchen (getting off the gas). Betty explained her journey towards an induction cooktop and how she has found cooking with induction.
Solar rooftop panels & a home battery - Nicola Saxton discussed her journey towards rooftop solar as well as a home battery for storing the energy provided by the sun, she then uses for free in her home at nighttime. She explained what living on energy from the sun is like.
Converting hot water systems to a heat pump - Deborah Guion spoke about her journey of converting her old hot water system to a heat pump, what this meant for her hot water costs, as well as electricity bill. She demystified how a 100-year-old hot water coil system has become so outdated and expensive compared to the new generation heat pump technology.
How to cut your power bills - Barbara Buchanan explained how to save on your electricity bill. She spoke about how she has drastically decreased her electricity bill by using several tricks, eg when she uses appliances and how she uses her electricity
